It’s Johto Collection Challenge time! How are you doing with yours? I am pleased to say I have ACTUALLY COMPLETED THIS ONE! With days to spare! That pesky Smeargle – which should have been the easiest – was the last one in my collection. I swear I have taken dozens of buddy snap shots before that sucker finally photobombed me! It’s huge improvement on my Hoenn Challenge that left with missing Plusle AND Minun when I had to work through incense day!

Johto Celebration Event
I’m well on with this too. All dark pokemon caught! I never thought I’d be happy to catch so many Murkrow (never found a use for that Pokemon yet!), and even in lockdown I am churning through my grunts, leaders and shadow pokemon. YAY BALLOONS! With the day off work tomorrow I think I can see the end with days to spare! Valid reason to leave the house during lockdown: Essential food shopping – with pokemon go running in my pocket the whole time! Ha ha!
Got to admit that I am less impressed with the Raid Battles this week. Entei? I have 4 of those already. OK, 2 are from 2018 but the other 2 are only from last year. I get that plenty of people wont have one, and there’s always that Shiny grind. But they don’t make my top 5 Legendary pokemon, and I’d love to see something new.
But then again, I was excited to see Regis when everyone else already had them so I guess fair’s fair.
