The first weigh in

It’s not like I don’t know how to eat healthily, or that I need to exercise more. I do. I’ve done it before. I got down to under 11.5 stone last time I was on WW. I’m not stupid. I know that having a desk job means I need to make time to be active, and that bit being active means I need to be extra careful about what I put in my body.

I am aware that I have gained weight again. Changing jobs, losing the unlimited gym & pool access I have through my last job, and having the luxury of a gifted cook as a house husband have all added up. I am heavier now than I have ever been. I’m not unhappy…. but I am unhealthy.

But I love food! And my lovely husband makes such nice food! Lots of it!

Now he is overweight too, and for the last few weeks he has been making noises about losing weight. So I figured…. why not do this together? If he can get to grips with healthier meals, I can get us out and more active! The kids love an excuse to get out and about.

So this is us. Signed up for Weight Watchers. Fitbits dusted off. And Pokemon to hunt out in the great wide world!

Here is my weigh in. I’ve not posted his because he is shy of sharing too much on line (fair enough) but I will share his weight changes.
